FAQ #1 What is MidsUp Worldwide and why was it created?

MidsUp Worldwide® was created to celebrate our sisterhood across the globe. We are an “unofficial” DST social media group. We gather here to share our personal and professional milestones and achievements. We do not speak for DST. The group was started in 2016 as a celebration for our Founders Day. The group was such a success that we decided to keep the love going. Within the group, we celebrate the achievements of our sisters and encourage them when they call on us for support.

MidsUp also believes in upholding the policies of DST and we do not post anything that goes against the organization. To continue our community service, through our T shirt drive we were able to donate 300 cases of water to Flint, Michigan. We promote sisterhood through our Sip and Paints, which support a Soror business, and Sailing out to Sea as a group, where Soror Brenda Nelson, who works for Carnival, helped make it happen. We have more coming. We support Soror businesses and make the group aware of them.

FAQ #2 What community service or events has MidsUp Worldwide completed and produced?

MidsUp Worldwide donated 300 bottles of water to the Flint, Michigan Clean Water initiative through the T shirt drive. We have also created Sip and Paint events that promote sisterhood across the United States in various regions. Through Carnival Cruise Line, MidsUp Worldwide has hosted a cruise connecting sisters across the world to network.

FAQ #3 Who owns the MidsUp Worldwide name and why was it trademarked?

MidsUp Worldwide® became a popular name, reaching almost 70,000 Deltas across its platforms at the time this account was written. We began seeing the name used outside the mission we were trying to build, so we protected the name and the mission. MidsUp Worldwide® is a registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is owned by the partners of MidsUp Worldwide®, LLP. Our logo consists of a pyramid with a globe inside the hands. This is how you can recognize MidsUp Worldwide®.

FAQ #5 What is MidsMart?

MidsUp Worldwide® created MidsMart so Soror businesses and book authors can promote their products and services in a safer space. We review every business on the platform because we want Sorors to offer good customer service and members to receive what they purchase. Past difficulties with sales directly in the group, along with DST policies, led us to create a way to protect MidsUp Worldwide® and group members.

FAQ #6 What is MidsConnect Magazine?

MidsConnect Magazine is a free monthly publication that began in October 2018 to highlight our sisters and their achievements. The administrators pay for the platform and are not paid to create issues that can approach 100 pages. They do it out of love for their sisters and the group. Members send photos for consideration, and we also invite Sorors in the group to share photos they would like featured. The magazine includes articles on various topics.

Sorors must obtain the photographer’s permission before submitting a photo for publication, provide accurate photo credit, and make sure they have the appropriate license or usage rights. If you did not take the photo, ask its owner before sending it.
